Hello everyone. Happy almost July 4th!
One of my New Year’s goals this year was to bake something for my family each week. And when I say bake, I don’t necessarily mean from scratch. In my quest to meet my goals and do them as simply as possible, I knocked this week out of the park with some Monkey Bread. This is a breakfast favorite in my house and can be done in five ingredients or less.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bundt pan with Pam baking spray. (I find this one practically guarantees that the bread will fall right out of the pan.) Then, take two cans of Grand’s flakey biscuits and cut them into small pieces and spread throughout bundt pan. When finished, melt one stick of butter, 1 cup of brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon. Bring to a boil. When finished, pour over biscuits in pan. Then bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
To make this Monkey Bread extra special, I bake it up in this heart-shaped bundt pan that I bought at William-Sonoma years ago. It doesn’t look like they sell it any longer, although they do have some fun fun floral shapes. But I did find this pan on Amazon that looks pretty close to what I used here.
I would love to know what fun (and simple) treats you bake up for your family!
